El Proyecto-
Project due- May 11th, Monday

Pueden trabajar en grupos de 2, 3, o 4, y también puede trabajar solo.

Cada persona va a recibir una sección de la leyenda que leímos en clase, ‘Iztaccihuatl y Popocatepetl.’

En sus grupos, o individualmente, tiene que actuar sin hablar las secciones de la leyenda.  Después de actuar, cada persona tiene que hacer un ‘voice over’ de su sección que corresponde con la actuación.  

En su video tiene que incluir:
  • un escenario (scenery) apropriado
  • disfraces(costumes) apropiadas
  • props para ayudar al público (audience) a entender

En la parte hablada tiene que prestar atención a:
  • las vocales
  • las letras difíciles: h, ll, g, rr, v, b
  • acentos
  • puntuación
  • partes con dialogo  

En gr
upos cada persona tiene que aparecer en el video.  En proyectos individuales puede actuar en todos los papeles (roles) o puede tener otras personas en el video para ayudarle.

Verbal Presentation- Reflexive Verbs

You should have the following in your Reflexive verb presentation:

-5 slides about your Daily Routine. Be prepared to talk about your routine and
Marta's routine in a given tense.   (2 sentences per slide) (2 pictures- 1 for you, 1 for Marta)

- Include a Sequence of Event word on Each slide (primero, luego)

These parts do not need to be memorized.
- Slide 6- Include a sentence about the Argentinian gaucho
- Slide 7- Include a sentence about the Colombian Cafetero
- Slide 8- Culture Topic in Spanish (5 sentences)

*Extra Credit- include additional information about the Argentinian Gaucho.

1.  This is a link to the list of National parks that appear in the Youtube video from the Blendspace activity in the previous post. Watch the video and write at least 2 preterite sentences about each location. Use vocabulary words and preterite irregulars in your writing.

2.  Choose one of the National Parks listed and create a postcard that is addressed to me at 15 West St. In your writing (6 sentences) write about a trip that you took at that location. Use irregular verbs and vocabulary. On the other side of your "postcard" draw a picture that represents that location. You can use your computer if you would like but please print out your final product before our next class.

3. In the last slide of the Blendspace there are some games that you can play using the vocabulary from the Buru Ri Ri reading. Also, next Thursday we will be having a quiz on the preterite irregulars.

Presentation for Thursday

Verbal Presentation

You and your partner will talk about a trip that you took to Costa Rica. Include details about each concept: La Naturaleza, Pura Vida, Los Parques Nacionales.

La Naturaleza- each person should share two sentences in the past about what you saw and did. Use preterite here and vocabulary.

Pura Vida- each person should have a photo about what Pura Vida means to them and talk about its significance. Use vocabulary here to express your opinion.

Art Comparison- Each person should describe a painting of either Jeannette Carballo or Adrian Gomez and share a comparative sentence about the paintings.

Los Parques Nacionales- each person should share two sentences in the past about what you saw and did. Use preterite here and vocabulary.

Tubechop- each person should have a section of the Costa Rica video “chopped”. You will play it in class and talk about why this section is meaningful to you or share a few sentences about its importance.
